👋🏽 Hi, my name is Joanna 💻 Currently studying MArch Architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture 📐 3 years experience working as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant and an Architectural Consultant for a property development company, as part of their in-house design team 📚 Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2019 with a 2:1 in BSc Architecture ⌛ In the future, I strive to continue through RIBA route and to become a fully qualified Architect 🏔 In my free time, you can find me travelling or a hiking excursion through the Peaks
Postgraduate Alumni
In my first year I received an overall mark of 72% First Class Honours. I also received a high first class grade on my dissertation topic in regarding the Contested Spaces: a study of the lost spaces under the elevated transit infrastructures in Manchester underneath the elevated infrastructures.
Part I Architect/Consultant
I was the sole architectual assistant responsible for liasing and supporting 25 projects nation wide. This included producing feasability studies, reviewing technical details from external consultances and complete sprints with the full design team. Please find my full portfolio below.
Undergraduate
I recieved a high 2:1 Upper Second Class Honours, recieving a high class first in the Construction Technology module. My final year dissertation was focused on Filipino Architecture, exploring the role of colonialism and its influences within the architectural discipline.
Hiker, Traveller and Foodie
I love going hiking, and recently completed the three peaks within the Peak Disctrict with my boyfriend. I also love to travel and aspire to travel to all 7 continents before the age of 30. Lastly, I love food and enjoy digging into new treats especially when away exploring the world.
